I think it was said on Discord that they do not care if you roleplay elitists within your nice little group but they do care when you start to enforce it on others.

Let people roleplay the gang they like, as they see fit - as long as it stays within the boundaries of server rules.

Just my two cents.

I'm not trying to enforce anything, honestly. People can roleplay however they see fit, it's their choice whether they wanna do it the proper way or not. Just my two cents.

I think the problem nowadays is mostly people put faction before roleplay, when it should be the opposite.

Much knowledge in this one.

advisor (consigliere)

Of note, in many modern LCN groups this role has become more of a "designated hitman" role - sometimes, old dudes end up doing fucking crazy numbers of hits as a Consigliere.

What? In almost every organisation I am aware of, the lower ranks do all the killing. High ranks rarely get involved but it happens. The whole meaning of an advisor (consigliere) is to take a load off the legal bullshit boss might face and advise him in some strategies. Yes, consiglieres might end up killing a guy or two, but they're not working in a candy store.

Saying that elderly advisors have more bodies on them than a chinese cemetery is just far off.

I might just be talking out of my ass about specific Northeastern crews, specifically the DePatriarca/Toronto crews.

This was a good read. The only thing I would add from this is the Norteno section, I'd add more info on their culture since a lot of people think that Surenos and Nortenos are basically the same but just sport different colors. Nortenos come from farming families/migrant workers, which is why they were treated badly by southern latinos, they were seen as lesser. The reason why they always sport the huelga bird (http://breakingthecode.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/huelga-bird.jpg) from Cesar Chavez is becase Cesar fought for Farm workers rights back in the 60's.
