How did you come up with the character name you are using now? Is it just random or you were inspired by somebody or something?

I am using name Lewis Hetfield, I am huge fan of James Hetfield and whole Metallica, that's how I came up with surname Hetfield, and Lewis is just random name.

I cheated (Michael Scott from The Office). I have a couple other backup names, either if they make me change my name, or if I need a second/alternate account. My backup usernames are also conveniently "borrowed" but they are mix and match names of people who work for the state DOT (and are all ridiculously boring "white people" names, ie. Steve Hanson)

This thread is going well so far.

I picked it to apply for the FD and it's the name I used in the FD academy elsewhere. Keighley is off Google and Krueger because it's a cool surname.

A gang documentary.

I totally missed the point of this topic...

Anyways I ripped off my character name from Regular Show, so there's that.

Well, I gained the sense of choosing a good name through roleplaying a lot, I just mix a firstname which is common with another surname which is not that common or rare.

Dae Dae (Member) ·

Baker came from me and my friend wanting the same last name, who will also roleplay my older sibling. Aubrey came from the infamous 6 God.

best kept secret (Member) ·

Raymond from the notorious Raymond Washington the founder of the crips and Graves from my IC brother.

The Stick-Up Man (Member) ·

Zion Bell. A black cop. Took Bell from Stringer (The Wire). I like the sound of it.

Random names most of the times.

Caroline was thought up because an old good friend of mine was named Caroline, and it went best with Briglia (It's kinda hard to find names to perfectly go with Briglia but still not be the typical name, and I didn't choose the last name, I'm going to RP someone's IC daughter.)

But my last character Lorelei DeMilo was brought up from a couple songs and Greek (Or Roman more so..) mythology, obviously. Her first name came from the song "Lorelei" by Theatre of Tragedy, then her last name thought from their other song called "Venus", I thought of the Venus De Milo (Aphrodite).

Lorelei, DeMilo.
