I have not been able to find any quick run down on what the server is about.
I was wondering how this would place on the heavy/light RP scale. One question I have is: What's the serve'rs policy on applications to join?
And I'm asking whether this is something that's going to be added eventually, even if it's a bit early to start forming teams to screen people joining.
There's no applications at the moment but I wouldn't rule it out for being a future requirement. As far as I'm concerned a roleplay server is a roleplay server so I would expect players to uphold their best roleplay abilities, which will obviously vary from player to player.
There is currently not an application process, but there are discussions about implementing one or not. As far as labels go, we don't have one, but I can tell you that the majority of our players come from heavy roleplay servers. I would suggest role-playing here to the best of your ability, like Lockhart said.
Applications, as of right now, are not currently a thing. I do not know what the plan is for that in the future.
We don't really fall anywhere specific on the light/heavy scale which is why I prefer to use the scale below (we are definitely on the Tom Hanks side, and EVERYONE loves Tom Hanks.)
I do hope an application process is rolled out in the future. Even if that's more about trying to keep out trolls/people with no concept of roleplay, as opposed to setting a very high bar for RP and expecting everyone on the server to be the reincarnation of James Joyce.

I would think that almost certainly there will be an application process prior to the server rolling out, that's the purpose of helpers.
An applications process is the best way to prevent many of the issues which run rampant through similar servers - It's easy to evade without it & allows for a single person to consistently ruin the experience for the playerbase. It also controls quality and knowledge of server rules. I think a simple and straightforward applications process simply to test knowledge of the player is something which'd greatly benefit the server.
