Job requirements: Trucking vehicle like rc van or burrito..
How to work: First you gotta get the job than you gotta go to a special area to pick up your package and than you gotta deliver it to the checkpoint that appears in. your minimap.
Packages: There might be two packages Legal packages and Ilegal packages.
Legal packages:Clothes , Furnitures etc.
Ilegal packages: Drugs , Weapons.
Clothes should be delivered in clothing shops like binco etc..
Drugs should be delivered in some sort of warehouses.
And weapons should be delivered in ammunations.
Payments & Rewards : If you're transporting legal packages payment might be from 100 to 500$ depends how far destination is but you will get no rewards , if you're transporting weapons you might get paid 500 to 1500$ but it is risky , transporting drugs is also risky you might get paid from 300 to 800$ and get a reward with 1-3 drugs.
I'd love for this trucking system to be in place. It's simple, straight to the point, fun, and a nice way to get illegal items. There should also be a leveling up system as well. The more runs you do, the higher the level, the better the drugs and weapons you receive, but this takes days if not weeks to reach max level etc. Boxville's and Yankees should be the primary vehicles for the job.
I don't see the point why faction members need to get that job to get illegal items. They should be free to do that without getting the trucking job. I don't even imagine this server having that type of trucking system, I imagine trucking system with more features.
Sounds cool for gun / drug smuggling, but due to the realistic economy suggestion it’d be good to see this job used as a means to transport goods to businesses. That way the economy thrives from players input in this job.
This seems to RPG/light RP-ish. I agree with Finch. I think the LS-RP trucking system can be a good inspiration. Trucking should specifically be limited to transport goods that player-owned businesses need, rather than delivering goods to businesses across the map that don't exist. That way the money goes from the business owner (who needs the goods to function) to the trucker (minus some theoretical taxes that go to the government) or a similar scheme. Trucking would remain an important job to keep Bay Area businesses alive. If no businesses are expecting goods, truckers have no job. Illegal factions can roleplay illegal shipping themselves.
There should be a unofficial faction for this job, basically a lot of truckers coming together to form a trucking company, and transport goods that business owners ordered. Or unless a business owner hires a private truck driver to transport his products, that too should work.
A place where the orders are taken is needed, for example the business owner calls a number and orders the products he needs and there should be another command that basically anybody would be able to do (/truckerjob, and to quit it you must wait one week, if you already have another job such as business owner it would not work) so the owner would have to hire a trucker, either one of his own men or contact a trucking company to go to the specific location and pick up the goods and transport them to the business/shop.
To conclude i disagree with the system you described.
