I want to see no policing the server but providing a quality police roleplay to the server, also, I expect mature members in SFPD who are not the type of play2win material and I want to be more professional on the job as much as they can.
Adding on to this, the goal of the department should not be to limit the variation of colors in uniforms within city limits but cooperation. People should be permitted to expand RP without repercussions and worry. The department should not be territorial at all.
Corrupt roleplay being properly roleplayed itself. I've seen it happen why too many times where cops believe they can just go and traffic narcotics like a damn movie. I'm talking about basic addiction and purchasing guns for fun. Besides that, less robotic and P2W attitudes.
I guess that's up to members of SFPD if they want to go narcotics or guns, heh. There shouldn't be any P2W attitudes or any sort of.

- Standards
- Less play to win than the usual ammount of it in most LEO factions wherever
- Characters, not robocops (people that will spend 99.9% of their online time while on duty, blindly following guidelines, handbooks and whatever the case might be; or just pathetic attempts at development past the line of duty)
- Approachability(especially when it comes to high command); as well as ess both IC and OOC elitism (overall)
last but not least
Quality > Ouantity
There's plenty of examples I can think of to help me explain what I truly mean, but one of them stands out.
There was this LSPD character in you know which server that basically ended up to be an utter disgrace for a cop (ICly, of course). Said character was meant to be fired, arrested, even. What really happened? Said character just name changed, filled some forums in PD forums about a namechange request I assume or whatever the hell, still in PD. Now repeat that ten times. It's just things like that. Actually filter your bad apples, at least in the OOC department, I dig the whole cops protect cops IC part of the deal
Standards will be upheld higher, indeed. Should you see someone performing poor role-play, feel free to report them to Executive Staff. Being online most of the time on duty is not robocop at all. Many officers work overtime because they either love in their jobs or want extra money. Blindly following guidelines, handbooks is not robocop at all.. Many cops follow the handbooks at all times. Robocop will be enforced strictly, indeed but what you stated is not robocop at all.
Elitism is banned in this server (from what I know) and banned in SFPD.

Welcome, your wish came true.

approachable, transparent and not elitist. nothing worse than a command / hc team who wont acknowledge anything people below them have to say
Elitism is banned in SFPD. The Command and High Command have have held high positions in SASD/LSPD from the previous server.
Communal roleplay. Not the shitty I-know-the-script-and-it's-limits-and-how-to-kill-you-first type of shit they used to call cop roleplay only recently in a server most of you probably know. All I mean is, ROLEPLAY in the actual sense of the word, if criminals do retarded shit, instead of sinking to their level, be the bigger guy and even if what they're doing isn't grounds for a report like most of the shit people used to do (because it was just abusing script to the max and actually not roleplaying), just bring it up with administrators and stuff. This game is about roleplay, not fucking how fast you can tap your shift or how good your OOC "aim" is like Counter Strike or whatever. So PD as a whole sets the standard for everything else. This wasn't the case actually in the past, but you know that's how it should be.

I am having some difficulty to understand you there mate. I really hope you do mind to go in some details? I mean, what did you mean "in the past"? SFPD did not open nor BA-RP did open, unless of course you meant the other servers.
In that case, SFPD will be entirely different faction of course, led by highly experienced members.

Do not worry about it. We are focusing more on roleplay. We did some changes that I can not state them here but I can tell you that we will try our best to provide quality roleplay.
Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was basing most on what has been my experience on servers such as LS-RP. How PD was reliant on only using TeamSpeak or whatever for catching criminals, shooting and knowing the script and game mechanics to kill/catch criminals was promoted to win situations instead of promoting roleplay. And also how people didn't roleplay characters who were police, but were just plain robocops with transparent motivations that were not their character's, but theirs and made little sense (for example, provoking situations that they know are gonna lead to shootouts).

Both the robocop and heavy TS3 usage, are frowned upon. Indeed, we already have a set of guidelines regarding the TS3 usage as well as limiting robocop issue (If we find any) minimal at best. Of course, if you notice something abnormal or out of place, do not hesitate to let us know.
The robo-cop term will always get thrown about. It's something that's been installed throughout SA:MP on role-play servers. Not every single player is going to be happy with the way a scene pans out. Role-play will always be the main focus of the faction, and we will do our best to make sure that your experience with police RP is the best it can. It's not always going to be perfect, no, cause not everyone is the perfect role-player. You'll always have your bad apples, it comes naturally. Police RP is something I'm very passionate about and I'll do whatever it takes to make sure the faction is always improving. So will Aero and members of his executive staff. We have very experienced members in the faction, and I know our goal is to provide great role-play. We're not here to make everyone happy though, changes, policies and regulations might not be to the taste of a variety of players, but again, that still doesn't mean it lowers our role-play standards. If you're unhappy about something, then any member of the Executive and Command team are available.
I'd advocate for very minimum (or even restrictive) TS usage. I feel like anything beyond during pursuit is too much. If everybody else has to roleplay regardless of the scale of the situation then so should they.
I swear if PD have the ability to use Teamspeak or discord just know pd is going to be shit and it's going to ruin the server.
That's a very poor way of putting it. Voice communication is necessary for PD in pursuits or shootings in order to communicate effectively. This is needed for the legal side especially since there is need for order and coordination. Without voice communication there is no way to update during pursuits and the alternative would be to have a tracking command that would give an officer's location with an update period of maximum 10 seconds. I do not not think you would prefer that over TeamSpeak.
In my opinion, TeamSpeak should only be used in character when there is no way for an officer to type, but realistically they would be able to use their radio. Other than that, most channels should be out of character, so people can socialize as they would on Discord, but that should not lower the RP during patrol.

Then everyone should have the ability to use it then. If us criminals can call backup via /r then PD should do the same. But I don't care cause if PD are able to use teamspeak or discord to communicate i'll do the same. Cause it's not fair at all that's bias as hell. PD doesn't just use voice communication to update on the suspect's location they do whatever the hell they want with it and they use it as an advantage thus stating if PD have the ability to use voice communication everyone should aswell just to make it fair I don't see why we can't use discord to communicate with our friends in the first place.
As long as they’re strict on people within their faction, I.E making sure those who RP a cop don’t forget to have a personality and dont have the urge to win off every roleplay scnerio. And the TS communication kept at a minimum just as @Pitchounette suggested.
I'd like to see you evacuating the microphone as an must requirement and can be choice or special cases can be made as a lot of us havn't justifiable accent. However, they can compose English fluently so it may be an issue for many individuals that might want to join the Department but can't utilize microphone or have an awful accent. I hope you take it into consideration and discuss it with others.
