I was messing around on map editor today and removed the tennis courts and replaced it with a motel which also has basket ball courts on.
I can see this being used more than a tennis court so I thought I'd drop it here to see what everyone thinks. It can also be used to have an apartment complex on.
Even if you don't like the actual mapping that I've done, what do you think about the idea?
Given that the tennis courts are within the walled-in area of the country club I'm not sure how I feel about this, but don't really have much of an opinion so it could go either way for me.
The mapping isn't bad but doesn't fit the area. As others have mentioned low income apartments wouldn't be next to a rich country club, the parking lot being designed for it. Just keep it as it is.

Also if anything, this area is more likely to be used as the Mayor's or Governor's (if we have one) residence. Other than that though, the mapping looks good, would be better if it were implemented in a low income area.
Definitely basketball courts. Also the massive building next to it should be removed to be honest, doesn't quite fit into the map, but that's just my thought.
The issue with removing the country club is the golf course - while I don't know for sure, I'm guessing the golf course is part of the terrain and couldn't easily be taken out. If it is decided to remove the country club and replace the tennis court, what should be done about the golf course? It would be even more out of place if low-income housing were to replace the clubhouse.
Not to mention that there is a large golf course behind the country club, what do you do with it? It would make everything out of place. It's clearly a high income area
I would pretty like to see this implemented. As an answer, I would prefer to see basketball courts in this area, because it's going to be role played as a low budget living area.
