House arrest or probation is mostly IC, we don't need scripts to do it for us. If they don't follow the law of DoC then they'll be put back to prison with more time, simple as that. Don't make it more complicated than it has to be.
House Arrest/Probation System

Depends on who you rp it with. When I was on House Arrest on LS it was lit because I couldn't go out rp with everyone I had to have people come to my front yard. Everyday I got a visit from a different cop.
It’s a nice suggestion but being forced to stay in doors can be boring to some people.
This is definitely a good idea, alot of room to discuss all this, but if this was to come to a nice little functional system, it would be a great addition to the whole roleplay scene. I can't think of how this would work perfectly, but hopefully there is someone out there that can do that, and will do that. I support this.
Hell yeah, support. I legitimely can't wait to call my homies for a bong session because I'm home arrested and bored af.
The probation system is also a cool thing, criminals will finally watch out after getting out of prison.
Would be quite cool so long as this isn’t hugely restricted. If you imagine players can only play 2-3 hours a day whilst their “character” is still alive for the other 21 to 22 hours, you don’t want that little time constantly spent on tag. It also depends what time you’re online (server time) as the limitations usually occur at night time, don’t they?

Agreed. Support.
A considerable idea.
I cannot support this sir. People would be bored having to wait in their house, it would soon create disinterest and complaints.
I don't think I like the house arrest idea, but probation in general would be great for possession and minor assault charges, or allowing people to be released on parole as well. Drug tests should definitely be a thing, violating parole/probation could be another addition to the penal code, and maybe have a couple of designated parole officers (or just have lawyers take the role?) to keep in contact/schedule meetings with parolees to checkup on them and perform the drug tests.
Idea is very good but I'm not supporting this.
