Had a quick conversation with @kane about this, told me to suggest on forums, so;
I'll suggest implementing bus driver job. This job, is making other players interact with each others, and at same time, they can earn some cash. I believe when the server launches not everyone gonna own vehicles to travel around, so driver job will be helpful for newcomers mostly, or who know, other situations, maybe.
It's pretty simple, taking a bus, choosing which line you want to go, or automatically get assigned (There should be different lines with different routes), then drive through checkpoints and wait for few seconds, then drive through another, and that's it, basically.
Bus drivers can also have their radios to communicate with each other about current accidents, traffic, etcetera.
What's cool about bus routes in real life is they're cheap have consistent day-to-day routes. What sucks about them is the waiting. When you think about it, the time getting to a stop, the time waiting, and then finally getting to your destination from your stop is going to take way longer than just sprinting to where ever you're going. SF is super small. I love the idea of a bus system controlled by AI that had a consistent route and is cheap.
I like the idea of this, but at the same time given how easy it is to get your own vehicle or just walk somewhere most of the time it kind of makes it a bit pointless having a bus system. Still, I'd like to see it in the server.
Bus stops should be few and far between as well so that they don't stop every 2 minutes.
