Maybe If you donate 5 USD / 10 usd you will have one personal skin slot. And there must be some requirements such as it needs to be roleplay fitting, low poly, no bugs (you can see through the head ) you need to wait for approval of the skin which might take 1 day to 2 weeks or something.
An issue I could potentially see with this, is if we have lets say 100 donators by summer, and they all have skin requests, you're going to be downloading a lot of models to play if we add them to the server.
Donators shouldn't get stuff like this, honestly. We have a modding team that does skins, why would donators be allowed to have their own skin on the server?
I'm also against "custom skin that nobody else can use" kind of stuff. Everyone is equal and has the right to choose what skin they like, it shouldn't be "You donated some cash, here you can have a custom skin that nobody else will be able to use because you donated".
Donations are to support the server after all, not so you can have fancy things.
This would provide an insignificant playing experience for those players who are not able to donate money towards the server, but always keep logging on and playing keeping the server alive. I agree with having Silver and Gold donator packages but for donators to get something that nobody else can use but them just because they paid a few dollars is a tad bit insensitive for the others who aren't able to donate.

Models download slow as shit, too. If you had to download 2000 models, there would be zero motivation to play.
Don't fully support this. I'm pretty sure there's a set amount of skins you can have on a server, rather have that be full of skins for the players than a few skins for the players and the rest for the donators. Don't support.
In my opinion, I don't really like this. There are a lot of issues that come with something like this. For example, what if the server doesn't like the skin the person donated for? Also, to me it's just not very reasonable to have certain skins restricted to donators. It seems pretty cheap.
To be frank, I find it quite a brilliant idea as far as it's concerning low poly material textures.
It's an efficient way to keep the server going with pretty solid funds, let's face it. A few arbitrary measures would be cool in order to maintain issues regarding copyrighted skins, maybe people could request this personal mod from one of the servers' moders and this way the server could recruit some more, what about that?
From another point of view, I really don't want to sound hypocrite, but it gives a lot of satisfaction when you're starting your "new character" and absolutely everyone is able to see your own customized skin that nobody else can't use it, it gives the player motivation to continue his character and, above all, it settles him into a comfort zone. Just settle a few strong rules regarding the procedures of getting such customized skin. Rejecting a model might not hurt that much since the skin designer has already raised his prices when it comes to this.
