A server-sided cruise control mod would be awesome. Share you opinions!

Started by crimeson,
I would love to see this, it would make driving much more realistic.

Agreed it's a must have
I love the idea, fuck holding w 24/7.
This would be cool to have.
If not, at least be allowed to use the one on the internet, so whoever wants to use it, they can do so.
Cruise control might be nice for actually keeping speeds down(?), although given the time it takes to actually travel across certain roads, I wouldn’t have thought it’d get used all that much.

Just get the Cleo mod. Even though it’s clientside it still works for everyone. No glitches for anyone or anything.

Most CLEO mods are usually not allowed. It’d be good to get a staff members opinion here.

Well, I'd expect that small CLEO mods like the first person mod and cruise control would be allowed since they're non intrusive and don't cause any cheating, but yeah. On RCRP the cruise control mod is allowed.
Does the cruise control cap your speed limit or does it drive for you? If the latter, there will be no stops at intersections and a lack of respect in traffic.
If the team decides to be strict from the get-go regarding driving behavior, this will be a case of added comfort rather than a necessity.
I'm gonna be honest with you, that seems to be a little too extra.
Back in a day I played in server which has cruise control and this is really nice feature, you don`t need to constantly tap acceleration to control your speed, but this is annoying when you hear the engine constantly revving and usually I`m turning cruise control off after 30 mins of usage.
No.
Hmm, I don't really think so.
