Courts faction

Introduce a courts faction responsible for interpreting law, judging civil disputes, and criminal prosecutions.

Have judges, justices, and all of that fancy stuff. It's a good out-of-server roleplay opportunity.

well, i dont think this will be needed instantly on launch but it'll for sure be added later on

Later on, I'd support this

Personally I think this wouldn't work, good idea but it simply wouldn't work.

This could certainly work later on, I am sure people are going to have disputes IC'ly, so matters that could be handled by the court would certainly be interesting. I wholeheartedly support the idea though!

Glen (Member) ·

Sure - I'm all for it, so long as it can be done in-game.

I love the idea,  but in my complete and honest opinion it may not work in-game. There could possible be a dedicated forum/sub-forum for Court-Cases however which may work, if this ever comes to fruition. As crimeson said, it probably won't be needed on launch anyway.

Need a government in place first imo.

Sounds good as an out-of-server roleplay opportunity, done on the forums, sure. I think this should be worked on after we have the basics in place though, such as a stable Penal Code, regular police patrols, Government basic regulations (licensing, flying act). I also think that these processes should be fairly short and not require thousands and thousands of words, I mean it's a game y'know, a game about realism but gaming isn't about 100% realism, otherwise there's no point in it eh.

This should be addressed with faction management when the time is right.

I'll be closing this on that note, it's not something that's a priority right now.
