Garcia, also commonly referred to as "Little Yerevan", is one of the 5 districts of the City of San Fierro, located in the South-Central area of the city it is influenced by the neighboring Hashbury and Juniper Hill. The neighborhood has seen a surge of Armenian and Greek migrants during the late 1970s and early 1980s which led to the the subsequent raise in Christian-Orthodox communities across San Fierro and its neighbouring towns of Bayside and Angel Pine. By 1992, Armenian and Greek migrants have surpassed the numbers of the previous largest groups of Central American Hispanic ethnics whom have generally populated the areas of Doherty and Ocean Flats.
The 2012 census presents Garcia as the most ethnically-diverse district of San Fierro, with the Armenian community being the largest at 43%; Greek at 22%; Mexican at 12%; Salvadorian at 10%; Colombian at 8%; Assyrian 5%; with the rest of the 15% claiming White European ancestry. Garcia suffers from a mild dose of poverty but overall comes together as a community more often then not to battle it's geographic. The majority of the population in this district are comprised of Low and Middle class working citizens, although has a very brutal past of gang violence among it's residents.
