Roleplay in Las Venturas?

I know this is probably far-fetched with the server not even being opened yet, but watching this gangland on a Crip set in Las Vegas kind of sparked the idea of roleplaying in Las Venturas aside the already established starting point of San Fierro. Maybe when the playerbase is at a steady level, we can expand out to Las Venturas instead of going to Los Santos.

Cause I guess the idea is when the server expands, they gone move to LS. But why do what everyone else has done? Moving to LV would bring so much more RP. Casinos, Clubs, Legal fronts for the already established mafia factions in SF.

I've roleplayed in LV and LS but never SF, LV roleplay is cool but thing is the hoods are mostly the same it's just LS has alot more dirty hood areas than both of them.

I voted maybe because I think that it all depends on how big the server gets. But one thing I really think should be a thing on this server is making SAN FIERRO the hub, it should ALWAYS be the main hub for this server regardless of everything else that's available to us like the country or Bayside (if they are). I think we should stray as far away from Los Santos being inhabitable because there's really no point. It's been done time and time and time again. I, and probably a lot more people, don't have interest in Los Santos because we've rp'd there so much in the past. Part of the appeal to this server is it being based in San Fierro.

If Las Venturas was opened I think maybe it should be used more as a time to time vacation town sort of thing to see how it goes at first. Maybe opening it at certain days of the week or something like that. But like you said, it's a bit early.

I, personally, have never roleplayed in LV which is why I brought it up in the first place. I think it simply being a vacation town is a little bit vague for it's usage. If it's to be opened at all, I think it should be opened for every roleplay opportunity possible, considering SF and LV are like right next to each other if I'm not mistaking. I do agree however with LS being completely inhabitable as it's slightly played out as far as a roleplay server goes. Every new roleplay server that opens, they change the name, but they're set in Los Santos. There's only a few that I can think of that aren't, excluding this server which is the obvious. I think LV would be a good addition, but not as the main hub of the server. That's not what I meant. I meant as maybe a add-on to broaden the server into other opportunities once the time is right, of course.

I think it would be interesting to see a gang in LV or a Mafia that runs a casino but has a stash house somewhere in Garcia, SF. I think it would open up a lot more opportunities in general and draw more people to the server simply because LV and SF are interesting places to me. And both equally unexplored in a roleplay situation unless evading the cops and on the run from LSPD.

Sorry if my response came off as if I didn't agree with you at first, bit tired here. But I pretty much have always wanted the same thing. I think a San Fierro server, given time and plenty of players, would work out nice with LV being somewhere to go and invest in things like Casinos and such for the OC factions and such. It was tried on LS-RP but they tried to monopolize with a single casino and trusted the entire town's (possible) expansion to a single faction (Roux) instead of giving free reign to several and allowing more then one casino and resort to open. Definitely would like to see that being done properly here.

At the end of the day I think a lot of people who're here want something new and fresh, and that's why SF will be a pretty vibrant and really good place to call home.

We're meant to be oriented in/around San Fierro.

We don't even know how big the player base is going to be, and how big or small it will stay.

Therefore... I say we worry about what we have right now instead of expansions and subsequently spreading whatever playerbase we have even thinner. That's never a good idea.

As pointed out, the server is mostly focused on the area of San Fierro, therefore other cities should not necessarily be a focus. The entire city needs to be utilized firsthand before expanding further.
