Originally named Nihonmachi or "Japantown", Little Osaka formed after the 1906 earthquake. Japanese immigrants had moved into the area after originally being on the outskirts of Chinatown. Following February 1942 under President Franklin D. Roosevelt's Executive Order 9066, all Japanese descendants were relocated from the Pacific Coast and interned. Circa 1943 large sections of Japantown remained vacant due to the forced internment. As part of the Great Migration, a lot of these sections were filled by African Americans who were in search of wartime industrial jobs.

After World War II, some Japanese Americans had returned, closely followed by new Japanese immigrants. The Japanese Government and some Japanese companies had also put forward an investment into the neighborhood and its people.
In 1957, San Fierro entered into a sister city relationship with the City of Osaka in Japan. Despite the majority of residents being of Japanese heritage, the area is home to several other races, African American being the second highest.
June 2017, high ranking member of the Okinawa-Kyokuryu-Kai, "Kazuhira Takahashi" was sent to San Fierro in order to expand their network overseas.
The Yakuza are known for their backgrounds in honor and the sheer amount of respect they hold. The Oyabun of Okinawa-Kyokuryu-Kai ordered Kazuhira to continue their work in the US under his own group, the "Takahashi-Kai" a subsidiary of the main family. Kazuhira often receives financial assistance and support from the OKK. Upon packing his bags en-route to the US, Kazuhira called a friend who had ties of his own to the Yakuza underworld. Dr Shin Tsukichi, or rather former Doctor. Shin had been living in the states a lot longer than Kazuhira. At Kazuhira's request, Shin traveled to San Fierro though it was several months later. By the time Shin arrived in San Fierro, Kazuhira had already put his money to good use and setup a leasing agreement with a local estate agent. Kazuhira now owns the lease on a Spa he renamed to Takahashi Sento (Takahashi Bath House).
OOC: The faction operates under Yakuza values, however due to adapting to the western culture, many members here do not have full body tattoos and instead opt for back tattoos. We aim to portray a Yakuza starting over in America, but are still true to the Yakuza culture.
Recruitment: This is done purely in character and will often revolve around legal business until inducted as a Wakashu (Child, outsider). We operate on the outskirts of Doherty, next to the RS Haul lot. Open the image in a new tab.
P.S: The OP will change based on IC events, for now this is an initial draft as I don't hold myself in high esteem when it comes to writing.
