Having a school for people who RP underage, and people who RP children with a application system to filter out trolls, and rules inplace to avoid trolling and unnecessary fighting.
Having a middleschool nd Highschool both together although being in seperate blocks so people who RP 11 - 14 dont have to be mixed with highschoolers.
To make it more fun the school shohld be replished with activities rather than sitting at a desk reading someone type, this would make everything much better. Something like Expeditions nd etc.
Something like this along with smth like a children's home could be done, but I do believe it's not the priority right now. I remember having a school and a childrens home in another server and it was completely amazing, the community, everything. Just needs to find a good "management". But how I said, it's not the priority right now, but should be done after the main stuff is out of the way.

School personnel is needed and enough people that will roleplay inside of the school. The server isn't as big yet so I'd rather see a high school later on, because it will encourage people to roleplay a little bit older so they can make use of the school.
I am roleplaying character who is underage and I'd love to see this being implemented, it doesn't have to be school, it can also be a college or university. Would be a lot of fun.
I like the idea of applications to filter trolls out. I've seen a server try such a thing, the mapping was great, staff was great, there was a time table and shit but at the end of the day, /me smokes cokene in da class ruined it.
I feel like it could be done but it's hard to organize especially at launch, people wouldn't take it seriously and I'm not bashing your idea or anything don't take me wrong. It's a perfect idea! But I think this could be done later, after the server is fully open.
I support this. This can bring a lot of unique RP, but this is something that should not be added anytime soon. Maybe once the server gets fully organized, know what I mean?
I love the idea, although I don't think there should be a middle school only a simple high school. People will definitely want to roleplay there. Supporting this.
You don't need a working education system off the get go to have a school on the server. The same way you can have stores and gyms without working staff and people will still role play around them without any problems. It's enough to have a designated building for a school and an interior, and let players with young characters do casual role play around it. Factions with young characters can have some of their daily role play take place there. It will enhance their role play. Then if there's actual interest, the community can step up and there can be school personnel and short classes. I say yes, a school with a nice interior would be a nice addition to the server. It's a tool which will help in people's role play.
It would provide great roleplay but believe me, from past experience, it's a tough project to carry out. It just needs constant supervision because some people troll due not having sufficient knowledge about high school / middle school roleplay. But, if the management manages somehow to balance something, it would really be great to see a school around.
As former LSU leadership - The main issue we had with LSU was with inconsistent staffing & disinterest in the classes themselves - If there were to be a highschool - it should be application required and as unrestricted as possible whilst keeping realism intact.
Anyways.. I'd highly suggest waiting until the server was properly established prior to thinking of an area like this - it'd take an awful amount of planning to get chugging and the servers still in its infancy stages.
I really like the idea. It would bring a ton of roleplay to the server and serves really no downfall besides the fact that it could attract trolls and those non-serious roleplayers, but if maintained well it shouldn't be a issue.
It's a great idea but as others have said requires good management. IRL I've studied childcare and have previously done teaching in schools, I'd quite happily help out in my free time to setup some rp schemes for it but comes down to how it's ran really. Would love to see this or something similar in place.
