No offence, but this way of mapping textures is horrible. It's not just you. Majority of people who make african-american gang skins do the same mistake.

Enlighten me in what mistakes, i want to improve shit :d
But yeah i know, mapping textures is new for me.. But I could see some mistakes on the pants when i was done, (didn't have time to fix it right away)
I find the shirt decent tho, and shoes is straight from original gta ped.

You just watched some awful youtube tutorial that everyone watches and makes the same ugly ass textures :D Don't do that, texture the rockstar way :D
I don't know how to explain it, but your problem starts when you press UVW MAP, instead you should do fine with just UVW unwarp. It's harder sometimes, but it's worth it. If you do so then the textures wont look so flat and unrealistic.

Hahaha, tutorials for life ;) But yeah, i fucked around with unwrapping in the beginning, but it is alot harder and more work than just doing it with UVW MAP.. But thanks for the feedback! :)

Typically the first thing I do is look for GTA-made textures. The more"low quality" your textures are, the more fitting they are for the game, so resorting to Google images should be a last step imo. Either way, when searching on the web I typically include "texture" in my searches, that ensures that I don't skip on any textures that previous modders made. For example I wanted to try and make a Gucci belt yesterday, so I searched for "gucci texture", etc. Not all images are fit to be placed on mods though, some don't have the right perspective, that's why I don't use everyday images from Google.
Agreed. Sometimes mines just looks all types of fucked up...
