Why do people hate Chicago gangs on samp?

I don't think anyone here is saying that Chicago gangs don't exist - it's just that within the San Francisco Bay Area (and LS, for that matter) they're minuscule in comparison to the gigantic gangs already established. This server focuses on the Bay Area. Oakland might have a Chicago gang or two, but nobody is enticed into roleplaying one because it's a very dangerous prospect, especially this early on, when every gang will chew you apart. The main focus is San Fierro regardless, and the only street gangs in San Fierro are Hispanic, Asian, and African-American DTOs with no affiliations or affiliations that change fluidly. It'd be like trying to RP the South African Numbers Gang - nobody is really attracted to the idea since it doesn't fit the specific setting of the map.

DTO fit the Chicago gang life style though, so it would make since to make a Chicago gang within the Bay Area type of scene because Chicago gangs are a DTO that just reps through clliques. Oakland is heavy clique base, pimping and sellin drug such has the same thing as Chicago style urban life. The Bay Area isn't nothing like LA with gangs, it's more of where you from similar to Chicago, everything that people are trying to say to try to say it doesn't fit but in this San Fierro  maping style it fits more than LS due to it being closer to the Bay Area style of living.

Of course, I pretty much said that. If there is any Crip/Blood affiliation it's literally just out of brief convenience and never serious. You can make a Chicago-style DTO ( not an actual Chicago gang) and I don't think anyone would think anything of it, frankly, so long as you aren't running around shouting about Chiraq. I think the big issue where people might get off is if you start doing stuff like that and claiming affiliation to PN or FN. Now, this is just the perception - nobody is stopping you from roleplaying that anyways.

Oh, I'm not RPing a Chicago gang, I'm roleplaying a crip. I'm saying because I know how most samp people think but I can't blame them because most people that RP Chicago gangs roleplay them wrong, like you said the yelling Chiraq no body even says Chiraq here IRL but they also roleplay them like it's a Chief Keef video and not the real gang. I agree with you on just roleplay a cali gang so you don't go through the back and forth on the thread, I'm from Chicago so I find it boring RP what I see every day it's boring to me.

and getting back to the real question, it's not really a unique type of roleplay, everyone knows about it and most of the factions tend to do the same things. (I'd prefer to spice things up)

Let me take that back, it really depends on what preference you have as a person. I've roleplay much of had my share of experience for most Chicago gangs. That's probably the reason why it's getting a bit dull for me.

Because,

A. No one here portrays them right.

B. Why make a gang based off being in Chicago in Cali? Yeah it's a role play server but that's not proper role play. They not gonna just migrate from CHI to Cali

C. They're usually only DM factions.

D. It's not a music video, that's what a lot of you KIDS see and wanna roleplay it, you can deny it... it's obviously true.

They have chicago gangs in cali tho. Its not base off of chicago its just that the gangs are from chicago.

This doesn't mean the gangs act like Chicago gangs or do any of the same things as Chicago gangs. They're probably more satellite-based and focus on building up a power base and distributing drugs/sending guns back to Illinois.

Most Chicago gang roleplayers don't know how to realistically portray a Chicago founded gang. They listen to rappers such as Lil Jojo or Chief Keef and automatically think all Gangster Disciples and Black Disciples are against each other. Most of them don't know that just because it's a Chicago founded gang doesn't mean you have to use Chicago gangs. Sure, there's slang for certain gangs such as "Moes" or "Bricks" but that doesn't mean you having to around yelling "fuck the Jakes". In conclusion, most Chicago gang roleplayers don't understand how to portray a Chicago gang realistically and don't educate themselves with the proper videos, news articles or court documents.

Black P Stones was made by Jeff Fort a known Chicago gang leader on the southside, T Rogers a known LA gang leader is from Chicago that moved as a kid to LA starting the BPS over there. Most people on samp RP bloods over crips so you might of seen BPS Jungles or Bity Stones but that is the LA BPS. T Rogers wasn't blood affiliated he joined the bloods due to his gang being bullied by the crips when they was on the crips and bloods was just starting.

Besides that gang it isn't any other Chicago gang that are in LA just like LA gangs are not in Chicago besides Surenos but they are in the suburbs due to the Chicago gangs being too violent to outsiders starting gangs in the city.

You sure Cali has no GDs, even? The GDs are nationwide, take a look at New York or Mississippi.

I think most of the Chicago gang hate came from people trying to portray them strictly out of real life but not doing well at it. Chicago gangs are special as well as hard to understand, and a majority of the people from the community are from overseas, where gangs like the ones in Chicago don't exist.

^Exactly. Most people who make Chicago factions don't rp it correctly. That's why most people makes bloods because most bloods follow the same laws.
