Stock Market

As we all see Stock Market plays a great role in the movement of the world's economy and it would be a great thing if put into San Andreas. In one of the most popular RP servers of SA:MP, there are various industries and factories and also business' which almost every player, especially truckers interacts with. If BA:RP would have this kind of industries and factories, it would be a great thing to introduce an online operating Stock Market where shares of these industries would be sold and purchased. This will also introduce Mutual Funds, which would work as employer for people and for the first time, there would be a proper use of offices. I would really love to see if there BA:RP will come with an interesting Stock Marketing script.

I would imagine this would be hard as fuck to script.  And also, small businesses like a lot of what is probably gonna be roleplayed isn't gonna be listed on the stock market.

Ofcourse small businesses aren't going to be listed, there's going to be an application system where these businesses will apply and only if the meet the requirements, they'll be listed in the stock market. Scripting would be hard, but I guess we can expect good as we got Southclaws and guys!!

Yeah, I don't know man.  I don't think something that complicated would work well with this.  Stocks are such a fluid thing that require so much math, I don't think it would even be possible.

I saw a server already having something like stock market, I didn't check though. But if they can have it, so can we....

As much as I'd like for this suggestion to be forwarded to, it'll still only work on paper. The stock market requires immersion and a variety of regulations, in order for it to work properly. What the server could focus on is the price caps and various ways to distribute money without creating a monopoly. Let alone you would need to have strict supervision of the market, not to mention how easily prices could be manipulated. Imagine the influx of money going through a single company. What could possibly work - would be having businesses, based on their structure(Partnership, LLC, LLP, Corporation) set a ceiling price for each IPO/share. This could open doors for shareholders, investors. No need to dive deeper and look for a more sophisticated system. 

I don't see this as a feasible option at the current state of the server.

Could be open to explore options around a system like this when the server's live and we've progressed in development.
