SECTION FOUR - MOTIVATIONAL SECTION
4.1) Why do you want to become a Fire Fighter/EMT? (min. 100 words): As stated above in my application - I've just graduated from an engineering university in San Fierro. I might not have much practical experience since I'm a fresh graduate, but I'm very interested in gaining the said experience as a member of the Fire Department. I'm a very technical person and a fast learner, therefore I believe I would be a great addition to the team. I value the importance of hierarchy and I strongly think that an important institution such as the Fire Department can only work properly if everyone respects the person up top. I'm also a very active person and I would like to start and develop a career within the department.
4.2) What does being a Fire Fighter/EMT mean to you? (min. 50 words): An EMT is a person who can dedicate most of their time to making themselves available for all kind of emergencies. Our modern society and its way of life can easily enable tragedies to happen - such as fires, traffic accidents and so on. Every society needs a dedicated team of specialist to be on scene when they are needed, to help those around them who can not help themselves. If I may use a metaphor, I would say that EMTs are modern day guardian angels.
4.3) What qualities and/or skills can you bring to this department? (min. 50 words): As stated above, I am a very technical person and I can easily adapt in every situation and environment. I believe an EMT should always be in good physical condition, therefore I follow a training programme to keep myself in shape. I am interested in gaining practical experience and eventually become a good EMT everyone can rely on.
4.4) Do you consider yourself a team player, or a lone wolf? Please explain your answer (min. 50 words): It's a bit tough for me to answer this question. It really depends on the situation and those who are involved. If I'm involved in a critical situation where teamwork is essential, then I can easily adapt and carry out the tasks without any trouble. However, in general I'm not a very talkative person and I prefer to only keep a small number of people close to me.
