SECTION FOUR - MOTIVATIONAL SECTION
4.1) Why do you want to become a Fire Fighter/EMT? (min. 100 words): Since I was a young age, I always envied paramedics and firefighters, watching them on the TV saving lives always triggered something in my brain and made me motivated to do something good. After graduating from high school, I then moved on to San Fierro State College which was a large stepping stone in my life, however the issue was that I had no /real/ idea of what I wanted to do as a profession, so after months of thinking I decided to chase my child-hood dream of becoming a paramedic in the state of San Fierro. My great-grandfather was a Firefighter before I was born and worked in the Arizona Fire Department, another reason why I decided to pursue the career..
4.2) What does being a Fire Fighter/EMT mean to you? (min. 50 words): Saving lives, helping people regardless of background, race, age or anything of the matter and most importantly making sure that everyone has a fair chance at life on the medical side whether that being them suffering from sickness or anything else related. I just want to be able to help as many people as possible and better myself whilst doing so.
4.3) What qualities and/or skills can you bring to this department? (min. 50 words): As listed above I have a Foundations Degree in Paramedic Science which I obtained from the San Fierro State College which shows I am competent and knowledgeable of the jobs and tasks I will have to carry out in the line of duty. I'm also BLS certified and know how to treat various different wounds such as gun-shot wounds, fractures and such also.
4.4) Do you consider yourself a team player, or a lone wolf? Please explain your answer (min. 50 words): Definitely a team-player. Stress can build up and get the better of people so it is important to stay as a team so you can speak to someone if things ever get hard or you're having a hard time. It's also good to have someone with you because if you don't exactly know how to handle something, you can ask your team-mates and bounce ideas off them.
